Official minutes of the 12/07/2020 South Warren Snowmobile Club Meeting called to order at 7:02 pm by Secretary Cindy Woodcock at Holiday Inn LG.

13 Members in attendance

The Pledge of Allegiance was stated.

Secretary Minutes:

Cindy read the last minutes aloud. Motion made by Rosie O’Boyle to accept the Secretary’s Report – second by William O’Boyle.

Treasurers Report:

Denise went over the report, she asked if anyone had questions (no one did). Motion made by Jim Kinns to accept the report and seconded by Bob Fearman.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Trail Report:

Some signs have been put up; most major intersection signs have also been installed. The groomer barn repairs were made and

Groomer Report

We took possession of new groomer on 12/3/2020.

Fundraising Report

No big updates. We are still raffling off a $250 gift certificate for Progressive Motorsports that we hope to draw in January. Tickets are $5, please let an officer know if you would like one or they can be purchased right at Progressive.

OLD BUSINESS

The safety course is set for 12/19/2020, there were 8 spots open, Cindy to post the openings on Facebook to see if we can fill the class.

NEW BUSINESS

We were contacted by Lake George Chamber of Commerce to come up with some ideas to boost tourism in February as the Winter Carnival has been cancelled. One suggestion was doing one poker run each week, maybe a bon fire at Roaring Brook. Any ideas welcome.
