2021 POKER RUN – This Saturday 2/27, registration begins at 9am.
Trails Are Open
TRAIL CONDITIONS:
2/25/21 – All four groomers are out tonight and trails should be good.
2/17/21 – The trails are hard and flat! Groomers have been out and every trail will be hit by tonight. We have had reports of some sleds overheating due to the lack of loose snow, so ice scratchers are a good idea. The rocks are disappearing and the trails are probably the best they have been in quite some time. All washouts are now frozen and covered over; even the trail to the West Mtn. parking lot is in fairly good condition, which is rare. The trail through Mt Kenyon campground (C4) is temporarily closed due to construction but we hope it will be open by this weekend. This prevents you from making it to Lake Vanare on this trail so you will have to take one of the other ways. The trail we closed last week through the same area is now open so you can loop around still. With the cold weather we have, the trails should remain in excellent condition through the weekend.. Get out and ride while it’s good!
2/16/21 PM – It has cooled back off and groomers will be out tonight. Trails will be ready!
2/16/21 – As you may or may not know, we didn’t get the snow as forecasted (I know surprise), we received about 3″ of snow, then icy rain mix and temps are above freezing; please stay off trails so when it cools back off we can get out with groomers and work with what is left. We will update as soon as we can see how they are when it cools back off.
2/15/21 – After today’s heavy traffic the trails are in fair condition with a fair number of thin spots. The groomers will be out after the upcoming snowstorm on Tuesday (fingers crossed) to pack everything in. Grooming will be very limited the next day or two until the snow comes. More snow and cold predicted for later in the week as well. Trails should be the best we’ve seen them in a while by next weekend!
